Today's Lists at Stockpickr

Here's a sampling of what made Today's Lists today, July 30:

52-Week Highs: Stocks hitting new highs on Thursday included Ford(F Quote), which reached $7.48 before closing up 3.8% for the day at $7.39; Bed Bath & Beyond(BBBY Quote), which hit $35.94 before closing up 1.7% for the day at $35.38; and Starbucks(SBUX Quote), which reached $17.84 before closing up 2.7% for the day at $17.63.

Biggest % Losers: Akamai(AKAM Quote) plunged $3.89, or 19.1%, on Thursday, to close at $16.51. Level 3 Communications(LVLT Quote) fell 20 cents, or 12.4%, to $1.42 after posting a wider second-quarter loss.

Rising on Unusual Volume: Green Mountain Coffee Roasters(GMCR Quote) rose 4.4% to $68.77 on a 348% increase in volume. O'Reilly(ORLY Quote) rose 4.1% to $42.22 on a 183% increase in volume.

Analyst Upgrades: Goldman Sachs upgraded General Electric(GE Quote) to buy from neutral with a $15 price target, up from $13. Morgan Stanley upgraded Yum! Brands(YUM Quote) to overweight from equal-weight with a price target of $40.

Analyst Downgrades: Morgan Stanley downgraded McDonald's(MCD Quote) to equal-weight from overweight, and Goldman downgraded Symantec(SYMC Quote) to buy from conviction buy.
